TEC suffers a 3.8 million dollar budget deficit
3 March 2007 (Stand Firm in Faith) TEC has suffered a $3.8 million budget deficit since June of 2006. This is due to both increased legal expenses and decreased diocesan pledges. A serious budget deficit was revealed at today's meeting of the Executive Council of TEC. The budget briefing given by Kurt Barnes is in the following PDF: The General Convention Budget 2007-2009. For reference, here is a link to the original budget, approved by General Convention in June.
